I made this wide-open-mouth large zippered pouch based on Noodlehead's tutorial at : noodle-head.com/2012/06/open-wide-zippered-pouch-tutorial-size.html, after my sister highly recommended it.
I looooove this functional pouch. It's a great, easy to follow tutorial, and you end up with a really satisfying quick sewing creation!
Alterations: The only alteration I made from Noodlehead's tute was to cut a triangular zipper pull rather than rectangular as I felt that's more in line with what you see in stores. (But, my triangle didn't end up perfect, so I might redo it).
Fabric: I used cotton poplin for the outers, a soft linen for the interior, and a piece of regular felt in between that I glue-sticked to the outer layer. All purchased at Paragon Fabric and Cotton Print Factory Shop in Belfast.
